About St John Ambulance
St John Ambulance has been a leader in first aid in the UK since 1877. Their mission is to prevent unnecessary deaths by equipping people with life-saving skills. Over the years, they’ve trained millions through various types of first aid courses, making a significant impact on public health.
St John Ambulance does more than training. They provide first aid at large-scale public events. They also help during national emergencies.
Additionally, they run community health programs. Their commitment to public health and safety has made them a trusted name for more than 140 years.
A Partnership for Comprehensive First Aid Training Solutions
This partnership brings together the strengths of both organisations to offer a complete solution for first aid readiness. Defib Supplies provides top-quality resuscitation equipment, while St John Ambulance delivers expert first aid training courses.
Our Shared Mission
At the core of this partnership is a shared mission: to save lives by increasing access to life-saving skills and tools.
Training More People
Defib Supplies and St John Ambulance help people gain the skills and confidence to handle emergencies. First aiders and first responders are vital in saving lives, whether at work, in the community, or in public spaces.
Providing the Right Tools
Having the right equipment is just as crucial as the training itself. Defib Supplies ensures that workplaces, schools, and communities are equipped with high-quality AEDs. These devices significantly improve survival rates during cardiac emergencies.
Building Heart-Safe Communities
Together, we’re creating heart-safe communities by making defibrillators widely available and ensuring people know how to use them. This effort helps increase survival rates and reduce fatalities from sudden cardiac arrests.
Why This Partnership Matters
Heart emergencies can happen at any time, whether in a low or high-risk environment. Immediate action is vital, and having both the skills and the tools to respond can save lives. Through this partnership, we ensure that individuals and organisations are well-prepared.
The courses we offer also help businesses comply with safety first aid regulations set by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Completing a first aid needs assessment is crucial for determining the appropriate level of training and equipment required for your workplace.
